Is there a difference between Paging and Intercom?

There is a definite difference between Paging and Intercom.
  1. Paging is a one-way broadcast to one or multiple devices or users.
  2. Intercom is a peer-to-peer, two-way communication between two devices or users.
Using the correct terminology helps a lot when reporting a problem and troubleshooting.
