Q: Do CyberData SIP devices support SIP over TCP or TLS? A: CyberData SIP devices do not currently support SIP over TCP or TLS. Only UDP transport is supported for SIP messaging. For IP-PBX integration where SIP over TCP or TLS transport is required, such as Microsoft Lync, we would recommend implementing a media gateway capable of transcoding SIP over UDP to SIP over TCP/TLS. The following media gateways are suggested for integration with CyberData products:
Example configurations for each media gateway are provided on our compatible IP-PBX server index here: http://www.cyberdata.net/connecting-to-ip-pbx-servers/ However, Your PBX provider may offer an alternate method of supporting endpoints utilizing SIP over UDP transport. I would recommend consulting with your PBX provider for more information.
Q: Do CyberData SIP devices support SRTP? A: No, CyberData SIP devices do not currently support SRTP.
A: CyberData SIP devices support downloading encrypted provisioning files using HTTPS. The supported TLS version is 1.0. | |
